Meet the Team
Owner/ Artistic Director
Shannon Dugan
Shannon was born with her feet in ballet shoes! Growing up in her mothers studio in Raynham, Massachusetts she knew dancing was her lifetime calling. As a senior in high school she was recruited to dance for a company in Germany in the Worlds Dance Championship.
Shannon went on to graduate Suma Cum Laude from Dean College in Franklin, MA with a dual-degree in Dance and Business, while being a member of their dance team and company. Her love for dancing never died. After finishing college she went on to dance at Mohegan sun for the WNBA CT Sun where she served as the team captain for three of her five years with them. Some of her highlights have been performing on national television with Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift!
In 2013 she decided to set down her roots and open Dance Expressions RI- holding the name of her mothers studio. While in the studio she shares her passion and love for all types of dance and gives every dancer the opportunity to succeed and thrive in their own ways. When she hangs up her dance shoes, Shannon stays busy with her husband and three active amazing little boys!
